Got them blues

Thanks to John and Lorraine Welsh who have supported us for the past few years. They regularly put on bands who plays Blues from here and the U.S.A at the Liverpool Marina and they hold a raffle and donate the raffle money to the Association..

This year alone they have donated £866 so far, so a huge thank you to them for their continued support it is very much appreciated.

Justgiving

It’s been a busy year for all our Justgiving supporters and thank you to them all.

Stephen McCay riased over £1065, Denise Richie raised over £520, Mark Jones raised over £310, Kathryn Orgill raised over £225. Mark Reynolds, Jason Powell, Amie Cross raised over £197 taking part in the Ramshackle Rally from Calais to Valencia. Thank you also to Darren Kaye who raised £85 and Izzy Brown who raised £10 and to Tom West and Brian Page for their support.

Children’s Heart Week

It’s not many more weeks now until the next Children’s Heart Week in February 2008. Children’s Heart Week 2007 was a great event for the Association with many local schools supporting us and around 500 children taking part in balloon launches and other fundraising and awareness activities.

Parklands High School, Chorley, raised £1,255.00; Highfields Primary School, Chorley, raised £125.00; Euxton Primary School, Chorley, raised £100.00; Christ Church Primary, Aughton, raised £418.74; St. John’s Primary, Southport, raised £298.00; Marshside Primary, Southport, raised £240.26; Crossens Nursery School, Southport, raised £74.67.
