The Manchester support group meet on the second Wednesday of each month at noon. They meet in the cafe on the ground floor of the Children’s Hospital, moving upstairs to Ward 85 after lunch to say hello to new heart parents on the ward. Contact Anne Flear on 0161 224 3901 for more info.
Isle of Man
We have a new support group who would like to bring together families on the island who are cared for by the team from Alder Hey, either in Liverpool or at Nobles hospital. Please check out their Facebook page and contact Kara Lee
Please email us if you would like more information about any of the branches.
The Association is but one of several children’s heart groups which come under the umbrella of the Children’s Heart Federation (CHF). See their website at www.chfed.org.uk for more information about the group. If you live outside the North West and North Wales the CHF might help you to get in touch with heart families near you.
If you think you would think you would like to start a CHA support group in your area, or if you just get together as a group with other parents, please do get in touch.
