Branches

We have several support groups across the North West of England and in North Wales, with our larger groups centred around Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. If you would like more information about branches in your area, please email us or call 01706 221988.

Liverpool

The Liverpool branch meet on the first Wednesday of alternate months. They meet  at 6.30pm in Costa at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, or at the Queens / Stoneycroft Toby pub. Contact Michele Casey on 01706 221 988  for more information or to check where the meeting will take place.

Manchester

The Manchester support group continues to offer support and connection to heart parents through their active Facebook and Instagram communities. Please connect with them via social media for more information or to get involved.

Isle of Man

We have a new support group who would like to bring together families on the island who are cared for by the team from Alder Hey, either in Liverpool or at Nobles hospital. Please check out their Facebook page and contact Kara Lee

Please email us if you would like more information about any of the branches.

The Association is but one of several children’s heart groups which come under the umbrella of the Children’s Heart Federation (CHF). See their website at www.chfed.org.uk for more information about the group. If you live outside the North West and North Wales the CHF might help you to get in touch with heart families near you.

If you think you would think you would like to start a CHA support group in your area, or if you just get together as a group with other parents, please do get in touch.
